After the DualSense Playstation 5 console was revealed yesterday and the significant changes that the unit got compared to the PlayStation 4 DualShock 4, there are a lot of questions about the real differences in size and what they look like when the two are placed side by side.

Some designers were able to make an accurate comparison of the size of the two units, by matching each one to the other by relying on some data such as matching button sizes and the D-Pad. The result was as follows:

In this image, the Playstation 5 controller appears as a shadow over the Playstation 4 console with the D-Pad and the four-movement buttons match. The touchpad has become larger in space, especially from the upper side, while it matches in width from the bottom side, and this will give us more space during use.

From the next image above, the DualSense will be prominent while we draw lines to define the edges of the DualShock 4 where we will notice that the DualSense handles are clearly taller and wider while we note that the size of the Option and Creat buttons (in the previous Share) has become smaller and farther apart in DualSense compared to DualShock 4.
The puzzling thing is the new button that appeared below the Playstation logo. Is it a replacement for the Home key button or is it the mute button for the microphone while the PS logo is the Home button and this is the most likely thing.
